REVISS is expanding into bigger business premises. We will not change our address but as of December 21st, REVISS will occupy adjacent units 5 & 6 on the Chiltern Court Business Park. The move follows the recent announcement that REVISS was appointed by the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation as the Principal Distributor of Isotopes and Radiation Sources from all the major Russian manufacturers.
Over the past 12 months REVISS has employed 6 new, full-time members of staff to cope with growing market share and pipeline business developments. The new unit will provide increased space for meetings and a dedicated relaxation area for staff.
We look forward to welcoming customers who may wish to visit us in the New Year.
Expanding Transport Container Fleet
The REVISS container fleet will soon have 10 new, lead-shielded transport flasks to assist in satisfying increased demand for delivery of PURIDEC cobalt-60 sources to the industrial radiation processing industry worldwide.
Licensed for both special form and non-special form material, the new containers have been designed using cutting-edge, "Finite Element Analysis" to model the impact of stress and thermal extremes. In this way it has been possible to simulate drop tests while monitoring actual safety margins in regions of greatest vulnerability. This type of computer modelling enables drops to be simulated under a far wider ranging set of test and constuction parameters than is ever physically possible; facilitating quantifiable design improvements to optimise capacity while minimising weight and size.
