General Reference

Kaye and Laby Online: National Physical Laboratory Reference Data: For many years, scientists working in a variety of fields, specialists, engineers and students have used Kaye and Laby as an invaluable reference for their work. At launch, this online version includes the entire, unedited contents of the 16th edition (published 1995) and is crammed full of tables of data, formulae, graphs and charts.

WebElements: Interactive Periodic Table

Radiation Dosimetry

Aerial: Dosimetry Systems
GEX Corporation:   total dosimetry solutions for industrial users. We continuously work with radiation equipment systems manufacturers, in-house users and contract irradiation facilities around the world to develop complete dosimeter systems designed to meet end user requirements.
Harwell Dosimeter: Suppliers of perspex dosimeters for all dose ranges
NIST EPR Facility: NIST is leading a national and international effort in electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) dosimetry for measuring ionizing radiation.

General Radiation

NPL Ionising Radiation Services: The UK National Physical Laboratory is responsible for developing and providing the National Measurement System (NMS) in the fields of ionising radiation and radioactivity.
NIST Ionizing Radiaiton Division: This division develops, maintains, and disseminates the national standards for ionizing radiation and radioactivity.
International Commission on Radiological Protection: The International Commission on Radiological Protection, ICRP, is an independent Registered Charity, established to advance for the public benefit the science of radiological protection, in particular by providing recommendations and guidance on all aspects of protection against ionising radiation.
International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements:

Computational Physics

RadiationSafety Information Computational Centre: The RSICC is a department of Energy Specialized Information Analysis Centre, authorised to collect, analyse, maintain and distribute computer software and data sets in the areas of radiation transport and safety. Part of Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Nuclear Energy Agency Data Bank: The goal of the NEA in this area is to be the international centre of reference for its member countries with respect to basic nuclear tools, such as computer codes and nuclear data, used for the analysis and prediction of phenomena in the nuclear field; and to provide a direct service to its users by developing, improving and validating these tools and making them available as requested.

Food Irradiation

UK Food Standards Agency: Food Irradiation

Food Irratiation Processors Alliance: FIPA
FIPA represents the irradiation service industry, manufacturers of food irradiators and suppliers of cobalt-60 sources. It's members have decades of experience in all aspects of commercial radiation processing.

Industry Groups

The Irradiation Panel

The Panel on Gamma and Electron Irradiation known as The Irradiation Panel is a group of experts with diverse interests in radiation processing.

The International Irradiation Association

The iiA site provides current news and information for the radiation processing industry. Whether your interest is in the processing of medical products, food, plastics, wire or other products.

Radiation Processing Simulation and Modelling User Group

This site provides the latest information on modeling, benchmarking using dosimetry, and simulation as applied to radiation processing technologies; gamma, X-ray and electron beam.
