Key Objectives

To provide products and services which consistently:

  • Comply with all relevant national and international statutory requirements including safety, regulatory and legal requirements
  • Meet the quality requirements required by the customer, the company and the defined standard
  • Are fit for their intended use

REVISS Services management is fully committed to the objectives above and to the safety and quality management systems chosen to support them. The QMS delivers these objectives by:

  • Establishing policies and a framework for the key activities
  • Detailing those matters of importance to the company, customers or regulators which are to be performed in a specific way or with defined outcomes, standards or specifications which need to be met
  • Providing a means of communication of such matters to all stakeholders, especially staff, regulators, customers and suppliers
  • Providing a means of setting baselines for measurement and monitoring performance
  • Promoting continuous improvement by review and analysis and by acting upon information or performance results received by the Company’s management to promote development of the company, improvement of its products, services for customers and development of suppliers

Safety and Quality is the collective responsibility and aspiration of all Company employees and the Company's policy is achieved through communication, participation and commitment of everyone. An appropriate programme of training and development for all staff supports this policy.

Health and Safety at Work

In recognition of its statutory duties, in accordance with the provisions of Health & Safety legislation currently in force, REVISS shall take all reasonably practicable measures to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of its employees and the health and safety of other persons affected by the Company’s activities.
In particular the Company shall ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that:

  • Workplaces under its control are maintained in a condition which is safe and without risk to health
  • Access to and egress from workplaces are similarly safe and without risk
  • A safe and healthy environment is provided with respect to fire risk
  • Plant, equipment and systems of work are safe and without risk to health
  • No risk arises from the proper use, handling, storage, transportation and disposal of articles and substances used in connection with work
  • The management of health and safety safeguards the well-being of any young employees

If and when employees are required to work at locations over which the Company has no control suitable supervision, guidance, instructions, and training shall be provided to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, that any risks to their health and safety from their work are minimised.

Environmental Policy

It is the objective of REVISS to promote health, safety and protection of the environment and to prevent accidents and injuries both to members of our staff and to members of the public wherever that is achievable. In support of these objectives, it is REVISS’s practise to:

  • comply with all relevant national and international regulations regarding operational and design safety and the protection of the environment and to improve on these regulatory requirements wherever we find them inadequate
  • consider both safety and environmental protection factors in the design and manufacture of our products
  • provide information to our products’ users and to other stakeholders and interested parties regarding the safe operation and use and disposal of our products
  • minimise waste produced in all parts of the business and aim for waste free processes where practicable
  • promote the recycling and re-use of materials, especially radioactive materials, in our products so as to minimise potential environmental impact at end of life
  • aim to minimise the use of materials, supplies, and energy wherever practicable to use renewable or recyclable materials
  • minimise the accumulation of hazardous materials and their discharge into the environment
  • liaise with local communities, where necessary, and participate in relevant environmental projects
    include environmental considerations in investment decisions
  • use our expertise to help solve environmental problems and develop public policy
